Results of the Wayne County Enhancement Millage
On Aug. 5th voters in Wayne County were asked to consider approving the Wayne County Enhancement Millage. We appreciate all of the voters who took the time to exercise their right to vote.

Unfortunately, the Wayne County Enhancement Millage did not pass. The Wayne-Westland Community School District will continue to be great stewards of the district's finances. We will continue to use our existing resources in the best ways to support teaching and learning and to provide the array of programs and services to our students and community.

For information about the Wayne County Enhancement Millage please click on the link below.

  3. Learning is an active process.
  4. Learning takes place in a safe, orderly and secure environment.
  5. A positive, supportive environment encourages successful learning.
  6. Successful learning takes place when parents, teachers, support staff and students work together as partners.
  7. Children learn best when teachers use the most effective instructional strategies.
